Description |
Summary The single port PoE midspan provides up to 60 Watts of power over Ethernet and offers a IEEE 802.3bt-compliant solution for remote powering of current as well as emerging high power applications. The PD-9501GC is designed specifically to power IEEE 802.11n and IEEE 802.3bt access points, pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) and dome cameras, IP videophones, thin clients and other high power Ethernet end terminals. It is also backward compatible and safe to use with any IEEE 802.3af/at terminal such as VoIP phones, IP cameras and wireless LAN access points. It can power both existing 10/100Base-T devices and emerging wireless Gigabit devices such as wireless IEEE 802.11n access points. The PD-9501GC provides power on all 4-pairs while being backwards compatible to 802.3af and 802.3at powered devices.

Extend the range of a PoE connection!
The Intellinet Network Solutions 1-Port Gigabit High-Power PoE+ Extender Repeater, Model 560962, is designed to extend connection distances from a PoE source to an output device another 100 m (328 ft.) via Cat5e or Cat6 cable. You can cover even longer distances by cascading these extenders on a network. The PoE+ extender does not need any additional power supply, as it draws the power it needs from the PoE input. Simple Installation Simply connect the "PoE In" port with your PoE injector or PoE switch, and connect the "PoE Out" with the PoE device that you wish to connect; e.g., a VoIP phone or a PoE network camera. That's it. There is nothing to configure. It simply could not be any easier. Reduce Wiring Costs No need to run AC power lines for your wireless access point, network camera or IP phone. Simply connect the PoE Extender to the LAN switch port and use the existing Cat5 cabling to deliver DC power as well as transfer data. Power over Ethernet 802.3at Compliant The Intellinet Network Solutions 1-Port Gigabit High-Power PoE+ Extender Repeater supports the IEEE 802.3at protocol and is designed to forward data at Gigabit speeds and up to 30 watts of input power to a connected IEEE 802.3af- or IEEE 802.3at-compliant device. The cable length on both ends can be up to 100 meters (328 ft.), bringing the total distance to 200 m (656 ft.). Cascading Power You can daisy-chain multiple of the PoE extenders to increase the transmission distance even further. For each PoE extender added, you lose about 4 watts of usable PD power, but if you start with a PoE injector that outputs 30 watts of IEEE 802.3at power - for example, the Intellinet Network Solutions PoE injector (Model 560566) - then you still have 8.6 watts for your PoE device, 5 PoE extenders down the line and 600 meters (1968 ft.) away. |
The DPE-302GE 2-Port Gigabit PoE Extender allows a Gigabit Power-over-Ethernet connection to be extended up to 500 m1. It is designed to supply data and PoE power to devices such as PTZ IP cameras or 802.11ac wireless access points over extended distances. With several mounting options, the DPE-302GE allows PoE devices to be deployed virtually anywhere over longer distances, eliminating the need for a nearby power outlet and attached power supply.
Powers More Devices Over Longer Distances The DPE-302GE offers a plug-and-play PoE solution, capable of transmitting up to 10 to 28 W of output power. It allows connection of up to two devices over a maximum distance of 500 m by daisy-chaining up to 4 units. With support for PoE/PoE+ and Gigabit speeds, the DPE-302GE is designed to be deployed in situations with high bandwidth requirements, over long distances. Flexible Deployment The DPE-302GE is powered by consuming only a very small fraction of PoE power. Combined with three flexible methods of mounting (built-in magnet, screw anchors, and Velcro), the DPE-302GE can be deployed virtually anywhere. This PoE solution frees network devices from the restrictions of power availability by removing the need for a local power source. The DPE-302GE has built-in 4 kV surge protection and is also capable of operating in temperatures of up to 60 °C (140 °F), allowing it to be deployed in harsher environments. Reliable Connectivity The DPE-302GE 2-Port Gigabit PoE Extender intelligently communicates the maximum available current with a Powered Device (PD). This protection feature keeps the device safe from damage by preventing it from powering on in case there is not enough current. This safety feature can also automatically disable the port in the event of an electrical short circuit. |
Reduce costs by using existing Cat5 cable to provide both power and data.
The Intellinet Network Solutions 1-Port Gigabit High-Power PoE+ Injector allows you to connect your IEEE 802.3af/at-compliant products to a non-PoE LAN switch port. The PoE Injector can be used to connect a wireless access point, IP phone, network camera or any IEEE 802.3af/at-powered device (PD) to a switch. The device has an output power rating of up to 30 watts. That's enough for even power-hungry PoE devices. Reduce Wiring Costs No need to run AC power lines for your wireless access point, network camera or IP phone. Simply connect the PoE Injector to the LAN switch port, and use the existing Cat5 cabling to deliver DC power as well as transfer data. Protect Your Equipment Now that you are running DC power to your networked equipment through the Cat5e/6 cabling, you need to be sure that the products are protected from power problems. The PoE Injector was designed to protect equipment from short circuits (short GRND), current overloads and high voltages. |
AXIS TU8001 Ethernet Surge Protector helps reduce system downtime, service and maintenance by shielding PoE devices against transient voltage spikes in the Ethernet cable. It is a compact, high-quality product validated to work seamlessly with Axis devices. AXIS TU8001 can be installed close to a PoE switch located indoors or in an outdoor electrical enclosure cabinet adjacent to a network camera or another device. Placing it in an enclosure, you get less exposed wiring, simpler troubleshooting of the whole system and less hardware visible on the pole. The product can be easily mounted on a wall or on a DIN rail.
