Description
Type C to Ethernet Converters allow users to connect USB Type C equipped devices to a Gigabit Ethernet network.

The Lindy USB 3.2 Type C to 2.5G Ethernet Converter is perfect for users looking to connect a computer, notebook or tablet to a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet network via a Type C USB port. It supports extremely high data rates up to 2.5Gbps* on existing Cat.5e/6 cabling infrastructure.

This Converter is ideal for thin and light laptops or tablets which do not feature wired network connectivity. With its small size and lightweight design this USB 3.2 to 2.5G Ethernet Converter is easy and convenient to carry, and because it is powered by the USB Bus no power adapter is required. It is compatible with Thunderbolt 3 ports to cover a wide range of devices.

* please make sure that the connected switch supports 2.5GBASE-T (IEEE 802.3bz)

Information about USB 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2

USB 3.0, USB 3.1 and USB 3.2 PCs, cables and devices are all compatible with each other, when using either a USB Type A or USB Type C host interface.

USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.2 Gen 1 all support data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps.

USB 3.1 Gen 2 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 both support data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps.
iWARP/RDMA
iWARP delivers converged, low-latency fabric services to data centers through Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) over Ethernet. The key iWARP components that deliver low-latency are Kernel Bypass, Direct Data Placement, and Transport Acceleration.

Intel® Data Direct I/O Technology
Intel® Data Direct I/O Technology is a platform technology that improves I/O data processing efficiency for data delivery and data consumption from I/O devices. With Intel DDIO, Intel® Server Adapters and controllers talk directly to the processor cache without a detour via system memory, reducing latency, increasing system I/O bandwidth, and reducing power consumption.

PCI-SIG* SR-IOV Capable
Single-Root I/O Virtualization (SR-IOV) involves natively (directly) sharing a single I/O resource between multiple virtual machines. SR-IOV provides a mechanism by which a Single Root Function (for example a single Ethernet Port) can appear to be multiple separate physical devices.

Intel® Ethernet Power Management
Intel® Ethernet Power Management Technology provides solutions to common power management approaches by reducing idle power, reducing capacity and power as a function of demand, operating at maximum energy efficiency whenever possible, and enabling functionality only when needed.

Flexible Port Partitioning
Flexible Port Partitioning (FPP) technology utilizes industry standard PCI SIG SR-IOV to efficiently divide your physical Ethernet device into multiple virtual devices, providing Quality of Service by ensuring each process is assigned to a Virtual Function and is provided a fair share of the bandwidth.

Virtual Machine Device Queues (VMDq)
Virtual Machine Device Queues (VMDq) is a technology designed to offload some of the switching done in the VMM (Virtual Machine Monitor) to networking hardware specifically designed for this function. VMDq drastically reduces overhead associated with I/O switching in the VMM which greatly improves throughput and overall system performance
Put USB devices within convenient reach.
The Manhattan USB Line Extender easily bridges the distance between a USB device and a PC host without signal loss. The local and remote units with a Cat5e network cable (not included) can connect, process and repeat USB signals. The local and receiver units can also be used separately to customize cables of any length up to 60 m (196 ft.).

Offers Flexibility for Virtually Any USB Device
Use the Manhattan USB Line Extender to overcome the USB distance restriction and expand device and PC locations and better organize productive office arrangements. The Manhattan USB Line Extender can help extend a USB keyboard and mouse during presentations, operate a barcode scanner in retail point-of-purchase applications, access a printer in another room and improve other USB applications without signal loss or interference.

Easy to Install and Transport
It's small, lightweight and portable with no external power supply or drivers required, making it ideal for travel and use almost anywhere. Plug-and-play capability and Windows and Macintosh compatibility make installation easy and quick.
